Estadio lleno. ¿Qué operador funciona realmente en las gradas que importan?

Un sistema neutral host demuestra que existe cobertura. No demuestra que la red de cada operador rinda donde más le importa al recinto.

A new stadium seating more than 90.000 runs a neutral-host system carrying several mobile operators at once. Installed, commissioned, coverage confirmed. But “coverage exists” and “each operator performs to an SLA, in the VIP and hospitality areas, under a full crowd” are different claims. The integrator responsible for the system has to stand behind the second one. The gap is measurement. A neutral-host install is signed off on a design and a walk-test. Neither tells you how an individual operator’s network holds up in a specific zone once tens of thousands of people are in the building, all connecting at once. That is what Beacon has been proposed to close, as part of a proof of concept for the integrator. Rather than a one-off walk-test, fixed Beacon instruments measure each operator’s signal performance continuously, area by area, so the team can see how every network performs across the seats, the concourses and the VIP areas, and hold each one to the standard the venue promised. A neutral-host system that has been signed off is not the same as one you can prove performs. This measures the difference, per carrier, per area, under load.
